The weather man says there’s more of this wet stuff in the forecast. We’re weary of it. Our instruments are weary of it. And yet, it continues.
We did a little song about it last summer…
We had a great time at the Floyd Country Store on June 9th! Despite the ever-changing weather this time of year, the welcoming and down-home atmosphere in Floyd never seems to change.
We really enjoyed playing on WSLS Channel 10 Daytime Blue Ridge back in March. What a fantastic bunch of people!
We had the chance to play one of our favorite Brian Barlow originals, Run, Willie, Run for all of the viewers. (You can check out the performance by following the link and then hitting the “Play” button in the middle of the picture.)
Another of Brian’s new originals, Arkansas Baby was used for the credits at the end of the show. (Yep, follow the link!)

These videos are a few of several that were made by and for Virginia Dreams Center Stage in Harrisonburg, Virginia in August of 2017.
Brian had just written Run Willie Run and we couldn’t wait to play it for the show!
And this is one of our all-time favorites…
An inspiring evening with Sarah Jarosz
I had a fantastic evening on April 27th at the Harvester Performance Center in Rocky Mount, Virginia. My husband and I went to see (and hear) Sarah Jarosz! I’ve been inspired by this young lady’s music for many years now, so it was a real thrill for me to experience her talent up close and personal. We were enthralled by the entire performance, from start to finish. Both Sarah’s musicianship and voice were angelic. I daresay for almost two hours, everyone there felt as though everything in the world was just a little more “okay” than usual.

A little of “Little Maggie” featuring our fantastic banjo player, Kim Wood!
